St Mark’s students attend Year of Mercy mass
Education: Secondary / Thu 30th Jun 2016 at 12:23pm
REPRESENTATIVES from St Mark’s Years 7-12 attended a special Mass for the Year of Mercy with our partner primary schools at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Tuesday 21 June, which was concelebrated, and supported, by seven priests of the Deanery and two deacons.
It was a wonderful celebration, and experience, for all the pupils and we are grateful to Father Bogdan, Parish Priest, for hosting the event and to all the staff who contributed to its organisation, especially the Music Department staff:
Mr McCarthy and Dr Coplestone-Crow. Every school provided readers, altar servers and representatives for the offertory procession, all of whom did their schools proud.
