ESSEX Firefighters have been called to a large fire in a corn field near Spruce Hill off Commonside Road in Harlow. On arrival, crews reported that 100m x 150m of the field is on fire. Crews are using two hose reel jets and six beaters to tackle the blaze.

Update 16:10hrs – Firefighters have extinguished the fire.
