Man left with “life-changing injuries” after assault in Staple Tye

ESSEX Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Parnall Road, Staple Tye, Harlow at around 2am today (Friday, August 19).
Witnesses reported a man in his 20s, was seen arguing with two other men.
He was then punched and kicked, and hit on the head with a metal bar.
Officers responding to the call then found a man unconscious near the Staple Tye Shopping Centre at 2.10am.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries have been described as potentially life-changing.
Officers have conducted house-to-house enquiries but any witnesses who have not already spoken to police are asked to call Dc Tom Bennett at Harlow CID on 101.
