Internationally renowned Choir Master Ken Burton launches St Mark’s School Gospel Project

Within an hour, under his expert direction, the newly formed choir was singing and moving confidently, in 4-part harmonies and with passion and enjoyment. And he is returning to St Mark’s later in the month to continue the good work.

Ken has worked on UK TV shows such as X Factor, Prom At The Palace and Britain’s Got Talent; he’s also worked extensively as a TV judge. Head of Music, Dr Natasha Coplestone-Crow said, “ We were thrilled, and honoured, when Ken Burton agreed to come to St Mark’s. Working with him has been a wonderful experience for our pupils and they have gained so much just from this first session. We are grateful to Essex Music Hub and the Friends of St Mark’s for their financial support with this project.”
