A MAN has died after collapsing near First Avenue in Harlow.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We received a call yesterday at 1.45pm to reports of a man who had collapsed in Orchard Croft, Harlow.

“We sent two ambulance crews, an ambulance officer, and the air ambulance from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAAT).

At the scene the man, believed to be in his 40s, was in cardiac arrest and unfortunately despite the best efforts of everyone involved, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts are with the friends and family involved at this sad time.
