Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Harlow.

The victim, a woman in her 30s, was opening the front door of her property in the Finchmoor area at around 6.15pm on Sunday, November 20 when a man approached her from behind.

He snatched her handbag before making off.

He is described as white, of medium build, 5ft 7ins tall, in his 30s and wearing a short black jacket, black jeans, black boots and a black beanie-style hat.

The bag is described as a distinctive grey and white chequered Louis Vuitton handbag containing a black quilted Chanel bag with a gold buckle.
