Eleven-year-old pleads guilty to brandishing knife in Harlow paddling pool

AN ELEVEN-year-old and a twelve-year-old have pled guilty to possessing knifes in a Harlow paddling pool.
The two boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pled guilty when they appeared at Chelmsford youth court.
The charge was as follows: “On 30/07/2016 at Harlow, had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place, Norman Booth Paddling Pool, Elderfield, Harlow an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a Cheese knife.
Both youths received a three month youth offender contract and a fine of £50.
