Essex Premier Cup

May & Baker E.C. book their Semi Final berth after a 3-1 win at Rayleigh Town. Richard Oxby opened the scoring after he gets on the end of pinpoint cross from Daniel Mackin, heading the ball past the Rayleigh keeper. Joe Villiers then scores a penalty against his former club before Kiel Chandler closes the show with a shot into the far corner of the net. May & Baker E.C. now travel to Catholic United, with the other all-Olympian Semi Final pitting Kelvedon Hatch versus Harold Wood Athletic.

London Senior Trophy

Newham United needed just a solitary goal to overcome FC Elmstead. They now face a Semi Final clash with Glebe.

Premier Division

Hannakins Farm needed a late goal from Tony Aylett to secure all the points against Kelvedon Hatch. The Premier Division leaders had taken the lead from a Ben Swift penalty. Mike Daniels then equalised for Kelvedon, scoring his one hundredth goal in the process before Aylett netted the winner in the closing minutes. Hannakins Farm now hold an eleven point lead over Frenford Senior, who moved up to second after they beat Canning Town. Bradly Nobbs and Luke Woodward were the Frenford scorers in the 2-0 away win. Springfield put in a domineering display at Bishops Stortford Swifts that saw them run out 8-0 winners. Ross Lamb led the charge with four goals; Adam Vyse notched a hat-trick with Josh White also chipping in. Tom Newell scored for bottom placed White Ensign but they lost 3-1 at home to Manford Way. Ruben Duarte, Louis Wynter and Ross Owen were the Manford Way marksmen.

Division One

Catholic United are now on equal points with leaders Basildon Town after their 4-0 away win at Hutton. Tom Kearney scored twice and was joined on the score sheet by Mike Sammut and Mark Reddaway. Only goal difference now separated the top two. Great Baddow are up to third after a 4-0 win at Galleywood. Matthew Crick claimed a hat-trick with Sam Mead the source of the other goal. Harry Brown was another hat-trick hero on Saturday, helping Snaresbrook go on to win 6-2 at London APSA. Daniel Walsh, Drew Barbie and Ryan Barker-Francis were the other Snaresbrook sharpshooters. Philip Brown scored both the London APSA goals. Runwell Sports made it a clean sweep for away teams after they win 2-1 at Shenfield AFC. Ben Crouch and Carey Wallace were the Runwell scorers while James Brett scored the Shenfield reply.

Division Two

Division Two leaders Sungate unleashed a barrage of goals against lowly Old Barkabbeyans on Saturday registering a 7-0 win that sees them open up a four point lead on Herongate Athletic. Jack Clarke and Bobbie Port both scored twice with Reece Clark, Danny Downer and Spencer Pitfield also chipping in. Toby also won to keep the pressure on the two teams currently sitting in the promotion zone. Elijah Seisei, Damien Donnelly, Daniel Cunningham and Lee Hill all scored for Toby in the 5-0 win with an own goal also being included amongst the tally.
