A MAN accused of attempted murder in The Downs has been remanded in custody.

Osa Akpata, aged 19, of Northgate End, Bishops Stortford, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court and was charged with the following.

1. On 26/01/2017 at Harlow attempted to murder.

2. On 10/02/2017 at Bishops Stortford had in your possession or under your control an article, namely a skimmer machine, a quanity of blank credit cards, a spy camera box and a number of other skimming related electrics, for use in the course of or in connection with a fraud

3. On 26/01/2017 at Harlow without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with you in a public place, namely The Downs, Harlow.

His next appearance is set for March 13, 2017.
