A 24-year-old man from Harlow has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a collision involving two vehicles in Fifth Avenue, Harlow, which happened just after 12.30am this morning, Thursday, March 2.

It involved a grey Volvo and a white Ford Focus. The driver of the Focus was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The road remains closed at this time.
