THE Norcott family have been fundraising for Princess Alexandra Hospital’s Charity for over 11 years now and have recently donated their latest cheque to the Williams Day Unit at PAH.

From golf days and football matches to annual dinner dances they have raised over £115,000 in that time, a fantastic achievement.

The Chemotherapy Unit is extremely busy with over 8000 treatments being administered each year through a team of 13 dedicated nursing and admin staff.

Some of the ways the money has been used is to purchase an Accuvein allowing you to shine a light on a patients arm to get the best veins.

They purchased a celebration bell which patients are encouraged to ring when they leave the unit for the last time having had their final chemo treatment.

Also a vending machine for patients and relatives and a quiet room.

The Norcott’s continued efforts in supporting PAH is hugely appreciated and Richard Hammond, Deputy Chief Operating Officer said: “I would like say thank you to Graham and his family for their continued support and thank them for the money raised so far”.

In the picture with Graham Norcott are Jonathan Sellar, Bernadette Roach, Tina Smith, Yasmin Gibbs, Lisa Reid, Steph Bird and Polly Rogers from the unit.
