THE Conservative candidate for the Toddbrook ward in this month’s by-election has defended his comments regarding Islam on social media.

On Saturday morning, we interviewed Peter Lamb in Coppice Hatch as he canvassed ahead of the September 28th election.

As you may see from the film below, we quizzed Peter on a number of local issues such as parking, crime and grass cutting.

However, we also asked Peter on his tweets that relate to the subject of Islam. Peter has tweeted: “Islam like alcoholism. The first step to recovery is to admit you have problem.”
