ESSEX Police have charged three people following an incident in Harlow yesterday (Friday, September 22).

Jamil Khan, 23, of Sorbus Road, Broxbourne, was charged with possession of firearms offences and Raymond Aylmer, 20, of Melbourne Court, Waltham Cross, and Kyle Gilbert, 18, of Burley Road, Bishop’s Stortford, were charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

They are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, September 23).

Armed officers responded to calls from members of the public that a firearm was seen during an argument between a group of people in Post Office Walk at 3.20pm. Three people were found at the scene to be carrying weapons, two knives and a handgun.
