Eight-year-old Tegan completes her 50th Harlow parkrun

Athletics / Sun 8th Oct 2017 at 05:08pm

A HARLOW girl has just completed her 50th Harlow parkrun.

Tegan Webber ran in the first Harlow junior parkrun in July 2016.

Today at event 60, Tegan was there again and running her 50th junior parkrun.

Tegan has only missed 10 of the free, timed 2km runs for children aged 4-14.

Tegan is the first runner at Harlow junior parkrun who has reached this amazing milestone of running 100km. She has also run five Saturday 5km parkruns and volunteered many times as well.

Tegan comes along with her sister, Emily (11), who completed her 48th junior parkrun today and her mum and dad who often volunteer for us.

A spokesperson said: “We are proud to have the Webber’s as part of our junior parkrun family.

“Well done Tegan, we look forward to presenting you with your ‘ultra marathon’ wristband next week!”
