Fresh appeal over Bush Fair attack in summer

ESSEX Police are re-appealing for information after a man was left with life-changing injuries in Harlow.

The victim, a man in his 30s, had been approached by a man in Bush Fair at around 10am on Sunday, June 25 who then attacked him with a knife.

He then ran off through the underpass at Southern Way towards Little Pynchons.

The victim was left with a wound to his check and upper lip which required specialist surgery.

We are also a re-releasing CCTV image of a man we want to talk to in connection with the attack.

Investigating officer Detective Constable James Smith said: “This was a really nasty attack which has left the victim with serious injuries that needed specialist treatment.

“It’s really important we identify and locate the man pictured in the CCTV image

“He has been described to us as Asian, in his 30s, slim, with black hair and facial hair and wearing a light grey tracksuit.

“If you recognise the man, please come forward and contact me.”
