Men set to appear in court over Post Office Walk incident

TWO men are due to appear at court after being charged in connection with an incident in Post Office Walk, Harlow, on Sunday, September 3.

Jordon Ogoazi, 19, of Chingford Lane, Woodford Green, was charged with wounding with intent, violent disorder, actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon and

Wael Rzaigui, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and drugs.

They were arrested on Friday, September, 22, and are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 20.

A third man, Thokozani Shiri, 19, of no fixed abode, was charged with two counts of assault, threats and a public order offence and appeared at court on Friday, October 9.

He is next due to appear in court on Monday, February 26, 2018.

Police were called by the ambulance service shortly before 5am on Sunday, September 3, to reports of a fight.

Officers arrived on scene and found that three men and a woman had been assaulted. A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries, and a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The other victims, an 18-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, did not require further medical assistance.
