Two men charged over fatal collision on Crooked Mile

TWO have been charged in connection with a fatal collision in Waltham Abbey in July 2016.
A grey Volkswagen Golf and a white Mercedes collided in Crooked Mile at around 3.45am on July 7, 2016.
A man in his 30s from London was taken to hospital but, sadly, died from his injuries.
On Tuesday, October 31 two men were charged in connection with the collision.
Daniel Odame-Danquah, 30, of St Leonards Road, Nazeing has been charged with causing death by careless driving while impaired through drugs, perverting the course of justice and failing to disclose a pin code for his phone. He will also be summoned for two separate offences of failing to stop and failing to report a road traffic collision.
Leon Odame-Danquah, 34, of St Leonards Road, Nazeing has been charged with failing to disclose a pin code for his phone.
Both men are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on December 6.
