Police appeal over teenage hit and run in Church Langley

Old Hall Rise

ESSEX are appealing for witnesses to a collision in which a car failed to stop.

An 18-year-old man was crossing the road in Old Hall Rise, Church Langley, Harlow, at around 7am on Monday, October 23 when he was in collision with a car at the junction with Denby Grange.

The driver failed to stop. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The car was described as being dark blue or black. The make and model are unknown.

Witnesses who saw what happened or saw a similar vehicle in the area at the time of the collision are asked to contact Pc Pete Pettet at Chigwell Roads Policing Unit on 101.

An appeal by family members was made some days ago.
