Athletics: Harlow’s Faith choses to represent Great Britain at Triathlon

HARLOW Running Club member Faith Jackson-Lee has been selected to represent Team
GB at Ibiza in October 2018 in the Half Ironman Championships in the Female Vet
40 category. The event comprises a 1.2 mile open water swim, 56 mile bike ride
and a 13.1 mile run.

Meanwhile Paul and Wendy Schroder completed the Kent Christmas Cracker 5 Mile
race at Deal, Paul finished in 29th place out of 260 finishers in 37min 16sec
and Wendy 67th and 3rd Female Vet 45 in 43.19.

At Harlow parkrun Andy Kitson finished in 3rd place out of 108 finishers in
20.32. He was followed home by Ben Chitiyo 4th in 20.43, Martin Westley 5th in
21.23, Martyn Coulter 9th in 22.17, Catherine Ridge 15th in 23.19, Paul Schroder
16th in 23.54, Terry Ridge 21st in 24.21, Spencer Brooks 25th in 24.54, Jim
Bates 32nd in 25.48, Chris McCarthy 35th in 26.08, Peter Ayling 38th in 26.26,
Laura Prime 42nd in 26.55, Martin Elven 50th in 27.43, Debbie Barry 54th in
28.29, Louise Cootes 55th in 28.30, Austin Nyamande 64th in 29.44, Jeff Mace
70th in 30.37, Pushpa Mistry 74th in 31.26 and Julie Bradley 81st in 33.28.

At Bishop’s Stortford parkrun Richard Hynes finished in 4th place out of 210
finishers in 19.15, Joanne Mills was 154th in 31.24 and Terasa Holden 168th in
33.19.

At Hertford parkrun Martin McColgan finished in 55th place out of 215 finishers
in 24.31, David Page was 80th in 26.43 and Janice Page 101st in 27.40.

At Hoddesdon parkrun Paul Dixon finished in 8th place out of 46 finishers in
25.15.

At Harrow Lodge parkrun Rachael Morris finished in 38th place out of 96
finishers in a PB time of 25.45.

At Ware parkrun Andy Kinney finished in 43rd place out of 52 finishers in 33.40.
