ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which involved a blue Ford Fiesta and an eight-year-old boy in Paringdon Road, Harlow, yesterday, Friday, December 22.

It happened just before 5.45pm and the boy is currently in hospital with injuries which are not considered to be life threatening.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact officers at Chigwell Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting incident number 867 of December 22.
