PLANNING permission has been granted for a new restaurant on the high street in Old Harlow.

The decision was made at a meeting of the Harlow Council planning committee on Wednesday night.

42 High Street is at the bottom of the street (older residents may remember it as The Bookstack).

The applicant is a Mr R Patel.

There is also a planning application in place for a Beauty Salon.
