ESSEX Police are appealing for information after a 19-year-old man was seriously injured after being assaulted in Harlow last night, Friday May 25.
A spokesperson said: “We received reports that around 8.30pm, the victim was approached by three black men, who had got out of a black people carrier type taxi on Bowhill Way (where Sportscentre used to be).
The three men threatened the 19-year-old with a knife before hitting him to the head. The men then left in the same taxi they had arrived in, having stolen a three figure sum of cash from the victim.
We would like to speak to anyone with information about the incident, in particular the driver of the taxi. Please contact Harlow CID on 101, quoting incident 1321 of May 25.
Information can also be passed completely anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information.
