OFSTED has written a very positive report after inspecting Roydon Acorns After School Club.

They visited the school in May 2018.

The report states:

Parents say that the club is well organised and that their children really love attending.

Good links with staff at the host school help to promote continuity in meeting children’s
needs.

Staff make good use of opportunities to encourage children’s awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, including through exercise. Children learn about consideration and tolerance of others along with practising good manners.

Children’s confidence is nurtured very well by staff who effectively help them to achieve and develop social skills, such as discussing ideas for play together.
