A HARLOW Pre-school has been highly praised following an inspection by government watchdog, Ofsted.

Home From Home Childcarers Pre-School which is based in Purford Green was inspected in May 2018.

The report made the following observations.

Staff successfully observe and assess each children’s progress and achievements. They provide children with interesting activities and outings to meet their individual learning needs.

Children make good progress and develop the skills they need for future learning.

Children form strong bonds with their key persons. They often invite staff to join in their play and proudly share with them their achievements and accomplishments.

Staff build effective partnerships with parents and carers to ensure children and their families are well supported. Parents say that they are made to feel very welcome in the pre-school.

Staff have established good partnerships with local primary schools and other early years settings. This helps to provide consistent support for children’s development and prepares children for the move to full-time education.
