HARLOW Athletics Club star, Andrew Osagie ran an encouraging 800 metres in the fastest race of the year so far.

Six years ago, Andrew Osagie got to the Olympic 800 metre final where he ran 1.43.77.

Since then, injury has prevented him from returning to such heights but the 30-year-old has shown glimpses this year.

The race, which was part of the Anniversary Games was won by Emmanuel Korir in 1.42.05, the fastest time since that 2012 final.

Osagie finished in 1.45.25. He was fairly hard on himself after the race but there is still lot of positives to take.
