Harlow man jailed for destroying property in Hodings Road

A HARLOW man has been jailed for destroying fire equipment in a council owned flat.
Kurt Shaw, aged 35, of Hester House, Hodings Road, Harlow pled guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.
Between 13/04/18 and 17/05/18 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged Fire System & Equipment at 2 HESTER HOUSE, HARLOW to the value of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS belonging to HARLOW COUNCIL intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.
On 15/05/2018 at Harlow in the county of Essex, with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress,used threatening, abusive or insulting words or
behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.
Shaw was jailed for eight weeks concurrent due to the seriousness of the offence and numerous previous convictions.
