Farm Fest: a Feel Good Community Event
Over 800 visitors came along to the Hearts and Essex Community Farm in Foldcroft, Little Parndon, yesterday (Saturday) for what was a great community event for the whole family.
Guests were treated to live music from some of Harlow’s many talented groups, including Harlow rock school and the Valaitis brothers. There were also stalls providing farm produce, animal encounters, vintage games and much more. Entry to the event was free!
This is the fifth Farm Fest that the Community Farm team have held and it has got bigger year in year out.
Credit must be given to Elliot, Munaza and the other regular volunteers for all they have done over the years for the local community.
The Community Farm truly is one of Harlow’s hidden gems and with volunteer days throughout the year it’s well worth a visit. Not only is it extremely therapeutic any produce you pick you can take home for free!
