Three teenagers arrested after high speed chase though Harlow

ESSEX Police has arrested three 17-year-old boys for driving offences following a pursuit in Harlow today, Sunday, August 19.
A police spokesperson said: “We attempted to stop a Volkswagen Polo that was being driven erratically along the A414 at around 12.15am.
“The driver failed to stop and a pursuit was authorised, which saw the car drive off at excessive speeds, overtaking other vehicles on blind bends.
“The stinger was deployed to bring the pursuit to a safe stop in Shackletons, Ongar.
The driver and the front seat passenger then abandoned the car and after we searched the area, with the help of the police helicopter, we quickly located the them hiding nearby. We also arrested a boy who remained within the vehicle.
All three remain in custody for questioning.
