Comedians raise a big laugh at Linkfest

First ever comedy event at linkfest. Harlow performing arts festival

LINKFEST is getting bigger every year. It is usually a music festival, but this year was the first time comedy came to one of the marquees on the show ground.

Talented comics came from over the country to perform on Saturday 25th August.

Comedy hour was organised by local comedienne Clare Harrison McCartney, who compered the afternoon and booked the eclectic bill.

Musical comics C.J Hooper and Sara Louise Aston graced the stage, along with punny man Pete White and excellent, working class story teller A.J Roberts.

Lastly, Jenan Younis brought some political, funny feminine comedy to the marquee. It was a great afternoon and fantastic that comedy was a part of Linkfest this year.

The comedy doesn’t stop there. Stand up for Harlow is coming to Victoria Hall on 15th September.

Tickets are £10 or £7 concessions.
