The ASL Tea Room: Tea, cakes and a song
Lifestyle / Tue 18th Sep 2018 am30 08:13am
ON FRIDAY afternoon, the chair of Harlow Council Health and Well-Being Committee, cllr Ian Beckett visited the ASL Tea Room on Maddox Road.
The tea rooms have become something of a cult success. Not only do they serve wonderful tea, sandwiches and the most incredible cakes but a number of staff treat you to a song and dance!
ASL is an organisation set up to support those with learning difficulties. Cllr Beckett sat down with the director of ASL, Michelle Tohill to discuss their hopes and ambitions. First things first, it looks like they are going to need a bigger room!
