Man convicted of drink-driving after being stopped on Southern Way

ANOTHER driver been convicted following our summer #DriveSafeDriveSober anti-drink and drug driving campaign.

A total of 205 people were arrested during the campaign which highlighted how alcohol and drugs can impair your reactions when driving.

The consequences of this can be fatal.

Our message is DriveSafeDriveSober.

The driver convicted is:

Serghei Chelseu, 30, of Airthrie Road, Ilford:
– Arrested at 10.21pm on July 14 in Southern Way/Katherine Way, Harlow;
– Disqualified from driving for 24 months, 80 hours unpaid work, £85 costs, £85 victim surcharge for drink driving.
