Crime / Sun 23rd Sep 2018 pm30 12:35pm

ESSEX Police are appealing for help to identify a man from an e-fit image who we want to speak to in connection with the theft of money from an elderly man in Harlow.

It happened on September 4 between midday and 2.30pm when a man claiming to be a newly-appointed gardener at a residential complex for retired people gained entry to the home of a man aged in his 80s.

Once inside he stole the contents of the man’s wallet, believed to be a three-figure sum, after claiming he needed to be paid.

Anyone who recognises the man in the efit should contact PC Jamie Dawson of Harlow CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Very similar to the male that keeps hounding my mum who is severely blind and aged 87 yrs. Despite CCTV he is still free to exploit older members of our community. If you see anything suspicious take a note of his vehicle and registration, this will help the Police find him. Take note, he continuous to return.
