YH asked Essex Police for an update or more specifically, was anyone ever charged?

A spokesperson said: “A 26-year-old man has been released without charge”.

Statement from Essex Police

“We arrested a man on suspicion of making threats to kill and possession of firearms offences following a disturbance in Long Banks, Harlow, at around 2.50pm yesterday, Sunday, July 15.

“We received reports that a man had threatened a woman and was possibly in possession of a firearm. The suspect then drove away from the scene.

“We located the vehicle in Minchen Road, Harlow, at around 4.50pm with the occupant decamping. He was arrested after a foot chase and he remains in custody.

“We also executed a warrant at an address in Blackbush Spring, Harlow, and located two air rifles”.
