THE children and staff at Kiddi Caru’s day nursery in Harlow are celebrating after discovering that it has been shortlisted for Nursery of the Year in the National Nursery Recognition Awards 2018.

The nursery is a finalist in the award initiative’s south region and with the results due to be announced imminently both children and staff alike are on the edge of their seats. Rather than a panel of judges choosing the winner, a public vote will decide which nursery is ultimately awarded the accolade of Nursery of the Year.

As Louise Farrow, Nursery Manager, explained: “The great thing about the National Nursery Recognition Awards is that parents and carers decide who wins, so to even be a finalist is a great honour for us. We are an Ofsted Outstanding nursery and have been four times in a row, and to have parents and families also give us the seal of approval is the icing on the cake.”
