PLANNING approval has been given for 46 new flats on they site of the old Lister House surgery in Staple Tye.

The item was discussed last Wednesday at a meeting of the Harlow Council’s Planning Committee.

There were no representations from applicants nor anyone with objections.

Labour councillor Jean Clark expressed a concern regarding “cramming as many flats as possible on sites”.
