Shiver Your Timbers for The Harvey Centre’s Halloween Fun!

It’s all-aboard the cursed ship for The Harvey Centre’s pirate-themed Halloween extravaganza! Join them for a huge day of pirate pillaging and excitement from 11am – 4pm on Saturday 27th October.

The centre will be transformed into a Haunting Halloween extravaganza. There will be a 3D spooky house and garden positioned on the ground floor of the centre which shoppers will be able to venture inside for a fright if they are brave enough! Then outside Burger Priest on the top floor of the centre there will be a family games area including a selection of Spooky Games such as “Spooky Wrecking Ball Game’ , ‘Hoop the Witches Hat’, ‘Catch the Ghost’, Photo Peep Throughs and Crazy Mirrors for everyone to enjoy for free. All of these attractions will be in place from 19th October until 4th November.

On Saturday 27th October customers are invited to join Wendy Walk-The-Plank and Penelope Pieces-Of-Eight for a day of swashbuckling, haunted pirate ship fun with treasure chest decorating workshops, sea shanty lingo classes, a real life treasure hunt and fantastic face painting!

The team of make-up artists will give shoppers the complete pirate look or create glitzy glitter tattoos, henna and many other designs of their choice.

Furthermore, The Harlow Playhouse have arranged a visit from Freeman Productions and Contexture Theatre who will be bringing the touring immersive experience ‘The Ghost of Chesterton House’ to The Harvey Centre.

The UK’s first touring immersive experience will take place at The Harvey Centre on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October, with performances at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm on both days.

There are only 14 tickets available per performance, so visitors are guaranteed an exclusive experience as the tragic story unfurls around them in the authentic Victorian dining room setting.

After the performance, guests will be invited into the conceptual experience, Chesterton House: The Ghost Lounge.

Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “Halloween is now a huge event in the UK and a celebration our shoppers really love. Every year we want to push the boundaries and offer something unique, fun and memorable and I am sure this year’s pirate extravaganza will tick all those boxes. I expect it to be a very busy weekend indeed and can’t wait to see you all at The Harvey Centre for some spooky fun.”
