Roydon woman victim of frightening car-jacking

A WOMAN was the victim of a frightening car-jacking in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We received reports that a woman was robbed of her vehicle in Hansells Mead, Roydon, at around 5.30am today, Tuesday, November 13.

The woman reported that she got out of her vehicle, a Nissan Qashqai, after it was struck by another car.

As she went to look at the damage to her car, a man got into her vehicle and drove off causing her to fall over.

The woman was taken to hospital with cuts to her face.
