THIRTY Passmores students were among those lucky enough to attend the first ever education matinee performance of ‘Hamilton’ earlier this week.
1500 students from across the country were invited to the Victoria Theatre in the West End to watch the critically acclaimed show, a modern retelling of the life of United States founding father Alexander Hamilton, inspired by the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by historian Ron Chernow.
Following a standing ovation, the cast engaged in a Q&A session with the audience, touching on topics such as the under-representation of women in the arts and the importance of support from those around you.
The cast commented that it was the best audience they had ever had, and thanked all the schools for attending.
Vic Goddard, Co-Principal of Passmores stated: “It was a fantastic experience and one that the students and staff will not forget.”
