A COURAGEOUS team of 19 local charity supporters successfully braved a skydiving challenge throughout the month of November in aid of West Essex and East Herts charity, St Clare Hospice.

This season’s St Clare skydiving event saw a record number of participants take on the exhilarating dive at Sibson Aerodrome in Wansford Peterborough. After weeks of prior fundraising and gathering sponsorship for the local Hastingwood-based hospice, the team of 19 St Clare supporters raised almost £10,000 in vital funding for the charity. That’s enough to fund St Clare’s entire Patient & Family Support service, who offer social, emotional, practical and spiritual support to patients and relatives, for almost two weeks.
