A HARLOW MAN is set to stand trial over two serious assaults in the town.

Idris New, aged 59, of Joyners Field, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On 22/09/2018 at Harlow unlawfully and maliciously wounded a male with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.

On 22/09/2018 at Harlow unlawfully and maliciously wounded a female with intent to do her grievous bodily harm.

On 30/09/2018 at Harlow, assaulted another, thereby occasioning her, actual bodily harm

A trial date at Chelmsford Crown Court has been set for January 9th, 2019.

He was remanded in custody.
