Ram Gorse man jailed for knife possession on Hobtoe Road

A HARLOW man has been jailed for six months for offensive weapon and drugs charges.

Darryll Smith, aged 32, of Ram Gorse was given the sentence at Chelmsford magistrates court for the following offences.

On 02/12/2018 at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place Hobtoe Road an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely 1 x 4 inch kitchen knife.

On 02/12/2018 at Harlow had in your possession 1x deal bag of cannabis.

On 02/12/2018 at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place Hobtoe Road an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely 8 inch carving knife.

Smith was committed to prison for six months as the offence was so serious and Smith had failed to comply with court orders.
