PASSMORES Academy hosted the first ever performance of the Fraudway Singers this week in aid of the charity “No Child Without”. No Child Without was established in 2013 and provides financial support for young people across Harlow in order to help them access educational and extra-curricular opportunities that may usually be beyond their means. The Fraudway Singers put on a cabaret of songs from the West End and Broadway consisting of various musical theatre songs, both old and new.

The founder of Fraudway Singers, Sarah Randall stated “I’ve been wanting to put on a cabaret for a while. As I work at Passmores it seemed perfect to do this for No Child Without, which was started by Passmores staff many years ago. I spoke to some of our friends from other theatre groups and some colleagues at Passmores and The Fraudway Singers were born. We were really lucky to get the wonderful Ruby Violet as our compere for the evening, who did a great job keeping the audience entertained between numbers as well as performing. A special mention should be given to our wonderful technical team of students from Passmores as well as John Mann from JMS who provided all our sound equipment.”

The evening was a great success and they raised over £950 for this very deserving charity. The Fraudway Singers will be back in the summer with a completely new show.
