A LEADING house builder has spread some Christmas cheer this season by donating a Christmas tree to a local school in the Essex area.

Barratt Homes made sure pupils and teachers at Fawbert & Barnard’s Primary School had their very own Christmas tree, as well as decorations, to get them in the festive mood before they break up for the Christmas holidays.

Sue Spearman, Head Teacher of Fawbert & Barnard’s Primary School, said, “We feel really lucky to have been offered such a kind donation by Barratt Homes. The entire school was looking forward to receiving the tree and it was a lot of fun to decorate, we don’t want to take it down!”

Fawbert & Barnard’s Primary School is nearby to Barratt Homes’ recently launched Gilden Park development on Gilden Way.

Glenn Copper, Sales Director at Barratt Homes North Thames, said, “We’re really pleased we could donate a Christmas tree to Fawbert & Barnard’s Primary School. We except a number of families at our Gilden Park development will have children that will attend the school and it was a great opportunity to give back to the local community.

“Gilden Park has helped grow the community in Harlow and we continue to look forward to welcoming new residents at the development.”

I don't suppose that the cretinous salesman realises that there are two schools in Hobbs X Road, who would also have liked a freebee tree, and decorations too. Ah, I've got it, we're on the wrong side of the roundabout. Happy Xmas everybody.
