HARLOW Town Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Sewell as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Club owner Tommy Cunningham is delighted that Tim has accepted the role. He said: “Tim joined us five years ago, initially as the club’s youth secretary and in more recent times, as the club’s general & stadium manager. Tim has been responsible for overseeing the entirety of the club’s operations and has done a fantastic job to date.
“In Tim, the club’s direction is being entrusted to a very safe pair of hands and an individual who knows the club and it’s potential better than anyone. He has worked tirelessly and often works long hours (sometimes through the night) – I along with all involved at the club, appreciate the work that Tim does and therefore this is an easy appointment to make.
“He has played a big part in getting the club to where it is today and I believe he can help us achieve more success in the future. I am very confident Tim will help build a positive future for this football club.”
With this appointment, club owner Tommy Cunningham will take on the vacant Chairman position.
Tim Sewell, Chief Executive of Harlow Town Football Club, added: “I wish to thank Tom for the opportunity to take on the Chief Executive role at this amazing football club. I am honoured that I have been asked to take on the role and help lead this club forward.
“Both on and off the pitch, challenges will always lie ahead. There is so much opportunity here and we are such a unique club in a very exciting time of growth. This is a good club and hopefully together we can move forward in achieving our fullest potential.
“Tom cares passionately about the club. Chappo (Danny Chapman) is a manager that I greatly admire. The youth set up is brilliantly run and I’m also fully aware of our loyal and well supported fan base. I do intend to look to improve the communication between the fans and the club and overall improve all aspects of club life. I have always had an open door policy and anyone is always more than welcome to approach me. My email address is [email protected] – I look forward to hearing from supporters and stakeholders.
“This is an exciting opportunity and I am grateful to the owner for giving me the opportunity to serve the club in an enhanced capacity. Come on you Hawks!”
