THERE were four choirs who performed at the Celebrate Harlow event on Wednesday night.

1. Harlow Chorus

IF you ever get a chance to see Harlow Chorus then we do encourage to grab the opportunity. They are an unbridled delight. Here, under the expert guidance of musical director, Vicky Calver, they performed beautifully.

2. Double Your Spirit

Double Your Spirit perfectly encapsulate the idea of a community choir. Thy meet at The Herald pub in Sumners.

3. Princess Alexandra Hospital Choir

Their performance was all the more remarkable as they have only been together since late last year.

Here they are performing Coldplay’s Fix You.

4. CM Singers

Finally, the wonderful CM Singers. Firstly, Nathan Stickley from the Harlow Playhouse performs an individual piece on the piano. He is later joined by the choir.

They are a new weekly group harmony singing sessions led by Nathan Stickley (GSA) for people in the local CM area. These group singing sessions are very relaxed and informal, they involve close 2-4 part harmonies, arrangements of old classics, new stuff, funk, soul, folk – anything!
