BARRATT Homes North Thames donated 70 hi-visibility kit bags to the school for its pupils to wear while walking to and from school, making them easier to be seen on the road in the dark.

The homebuilder’s development, Gilden Park in Old Harlow, is located near to the school, and a number of families who have moved into the development have children who attend the school.

Mrs Sue Spearman, Head Teacher of Fawbert & Barnard’s Primary School said, “Barratt Homes was kind enough to donate some hi-vis kit bags to our school which we know the children and staff will get some great wear out of, especially in these winter months.”

Glenn Copper, Sales Director of Barratt Homes North Thames, said: “We’re really pleased we could provide Fawbert & Barnard’s Primary School with hi-visibility kit bags.

“Road safety is really important when the weather isn’t on our side and the afternoons are dark, hopefully this donation will support the school in keeping staff and children safe.”

There are currently a range of three, four and five bedroom homes for sale at Gilden Park, ranging in prices from £359,950 to £575,000.
