THE CHAIR of Harlow Council paid a visit to an organisation providing one of the most important services to the young people of Harlow

YCT (Young Concern Trust) are based on Maddox Road in Harlow. They are principally involved in counselling young people with a wide range of issues and challenges.

Chair, Cllr Maggie Hulcoop was given a tour of the premises by chief executive, Nick Phipps and his team.

She was also given a copy of their annual report and was bale to discuss their key challenges.

As it was Red Nose Day, staff had baked a selection of cakes and asked the chair to judge the cakes.

Remarkably, it was the blondie cakes of Nick Phipps which won!
