THE FIRST Great Parndon Scout Group joined in the Great Spring Clean by collecting rubbish around the town park.

Over a dozen hardy volunteers did their duty across our beautiful park on Sunday afternoon.

The scout group are based at the corner of First Avenue and School Lane.

They are one of close to fifty groups in the town who have taken part in the countrywide initiative.
