ON Easter Monday, members of ‘Harlow Rocks’ got together and held a Spring/Easter rock drop in the town park by the bandstand.

This is a Facebook group of people who decorate rocks and hide them for others to find and bring a smile to their face.

The finder can either keep them or re-hide them to spread the smile!

Although this is now a national and even international craze, there Harlow rockers decided to meet up to combine efforts and rock Harlow Town Park!

A spokesperson said: “We met at the bandstand and counted the rocks which totalled 501!!

The fun started as families and friends raced off with handfuls of rocks to hide around the park.

“Harlow Rocks would like to thank Karen, in particular, who decorated so many rocks for the drop!

“Anyone can join in by decorating rocks with pens, paints or even nail varnish! Rocks need to be varnished so they can withstand the weather before they are found.
