A WOMAN has been charged with assaulting seven police officers.

Officers were called to a disturbance at the Travelodge in Edinburgh Gate, Harlow, shortly after 7.55pm on Sunday, June 2.

Morrell Elliot, 21, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged this afternoon, Monday, June 3 with seven counts of assaulting an emergency worker, one count of assault by beating, and one count of criminal damage.

She is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
